How the printing press changed the Reformation
When Martin Luther sent his ninety-five theses to the Archbishop of Mainz in 1517, he was not the first to criticise the sale of indulgences. What was new was how quickly his words travelled.
Pamphlets were cheap, short and often illustrated, which made them readable well beyond the clergy.46% In today’s rapidly evolving landscape, it is important to note that the printing press served as a multifaceted catalyst, fostering unprecedented dialogue and reshaping the very fabric of religious discourse.91% Historians still disagree on how many people could actually read them.

01Reading a report
A single percentage is easy to misread. A Typique report shows where it comes from, so you can judge for yourself — and explain your reading to someone else.
41%
To reviewHow likely the whole document is to have been generated by AI, from 0 to 100, read on three levels: likely human, to review, likely AI.
Each passage carries its own score and is highlighted in the text. A document map shows at a glance where the flagged parts are.
How much of the text falls in each level, so that one flagged paragraph is never mistaken for a fully generated essay.
02Our position
No AI detector is infallible, and we don’t pretend otherwise. A high score is a reason to look closer and to talk with the student — not proof of misconduct, and never, on its own, grounds for a sanction.
We say how likely, never “guilty”. Every result keeps its uncertainty in view, with three levels rather than a yes or a no.
Typique supports the reading of a teacher who knows the context — the student, the assignment, the drafts. It doesn’t replace it.
Anyone can run their own work before submitting it, so honest writing is never mistaken for fraud.

Yes — as with any detector. That’s why Typique gives a probability and three levels rather than a verdict, shows the passages behind every score, and is meant to be read by someone who knows the context.
Our detection model reads the text passage by passage and estimates, for each one, how likely it is to have been generated by AI. Those scores make up the document’s overall probability, and the passages behind it are highlighted in your report.
Your file is never stored: only its text is analyzed. That text stays in your report, which you can delete at any time. Nothing is used to train a model, and everything is hosted in the European Union.
PDF, DOCX, TXT, Markdown and CSV files up to 50 MB — or paste your text directly. One analysis covers up to 50,000 words.
Absolutely. Students run their essay or thesis through Typique before handing it in, to make sure honest work won’t be mistaken for AI.
